VOI-X        Day 4

On Saturday, we took off for Belle Isle to have breakfast and watch the Qualifying for

Sunday's races.  

There are no words that can describe the incredible feeling of sitting ten

feet from the track and eating breakfast as the Indy cars go screaming by.

This shot gives you an idea of how incredibly close we were able to get to the track.

After breakfast and shooting pictures of the cars in action, I decided to take off for Pit Lane.

We were given Pit Passes which allowed us un-obscured access to all the action

I thought they were going to put us to work.

For a short time, I was able to sneak up into the TV / Press area for some great shots.

The Falken Girls distracted everyone just enough for me to sneak in front of the barriers

to get some nice clear shots of the track.

And in last Place......Corvette

The Viper Corral was an awesome thing to see.

I met Jack from Florida and together we talked VIP services into driving us out to the

Viper paddocks.

And as luck may have it, the Toyo Girls were out doing a photo shoot....so I took pictures !!!

I asked them to come and take pictures with Cindy's crew.....

Aside from all the Viper activities, I had another quest....to dine at the famed White Castle.

After 3 days of trying to con someone into taking me to eat the famed burgers,  Gary and I

talked our shuttle driver, Rodney, to taking a side route and stop at White Castle.

It was quite an adventure..............one that I'll never forget....ask me about it sometime.

That evening we had our final Banquet.

It was a long flight home.....views out the window were spectacular.....but the great memories

of VOI-X will be forever cherished.
