Everyone was looking forward to this run to Palm Springs. It was a beautiful morning in So Cal
without a cloud in the sky. A handful of us in the OC met up in Irvine, the LA group met up and
headed to Chino for biscuits and gravy, while the SD group headed to the first meet point in Moreno Valley.

Everyone was on time and we invaded the Chevron station.

It is so much fun going from meet point to meet point and seeing more and more friends come
together.
After a quick drivers meeting, we hit the road to meet up with Desert clan.
Welcome to the club Michael and Sarafina !!

It was quite a sight to see the tram descending from the Heavens
Doc looked a bit worried as all 65 of us loaded into the tram.....I hope that cable doesn't break!
As we made the 14 minute ascent to the top of the mountain, the floor in the tram slowly rotated
giving everyone a 360 degree view.
The best part of the ride up was at each of the tower stations where the tram would
rise, swing and drop causing your stomach to get that tickle.

The SoCal Viper Club made their exit and headed to the chow line
Our tickets included a delicious lunch at the top of the mountain.
Happy Belated Birthday Paul !
After lunch, we headed out to the observation deck where the views were spectacular.
Marcela and Matt drove all the way from Las Vegas to join us.
