Thursday morning came very early.....and many of us found it hard to sleep.

The majority of the Club was meeting at 7:30 am and leaving at 8:00.

I needed to be in Salt Lake City before 3:00 in order to make the President's Meeting with

Dan.  Thankfully a bunch of guys got up early and made the early morning cruise to SLC.

We left at 5:30 and got to see the sunrise over the Utah mountains.

I really appreciated having company on the 7 hour drive.  Even Justin's girl kept us entertained !

We made a quick stop in Beaver UT to stretch and eat.

Then it was back on the road.

When we arrived at the Grand America, the Laguna Seca record setting car was parked in front.

I had just enough time to order room service, shower and get to the meeting.

The meeting was good and I learned a great deal.   More than anything, my respect for those

who have stepped up to run the Viper Club of America increased ten-fold.  It is easy to criticize

things that others do, but it is far better to recognize and acknowledge all the incredible

accomplishments that they have worked so very hard for.  Thank You VCA Board members !!!

The Grailkeeper washing his VOI-10 car

I can't say enough about the guys in our club.   I was dead tired and my car was filthy.

Eddie, Art and Ben insisted on taking care of it for me.   10:00 at night and they are out there

washing my ACR.    Part of me thinks they were going to try and put Panties on it !

I even got a picture with Herb.
