We all know the brand name K&N Filters. They are huge sponsors of all types of motorsports and
their presence is everywhere. Ken Johnson and Norm McDonald founded K&N Engineering in
1969 and was essentially a small family run business in Riverside. It has since grown to over 700
employees worldwide and annual sales in excess of $150 million. Still located in Riverside, they
are the largest manufacturing company in the county and when they offered a private tour of their
facilities, I knew our Club would enjoy it.
We had 35 Vipers show up for this tour ! We got an inside look of the manufacturing, testing, R&D,
and shipping. Really incredible, state of the art facility.

After the walking tour we ended up in their conference room where Patsy Sulpizio and Raj Champanere
