Laguna Seca is one of the most iconic tracks in the U.S. and luckily it is within driving distance for us here in So Cal.

When Speedventures put Laguna Seca on their schedule for 2012, a whole bunch of us jumped at the

opportunity to drive this famed track.  There was great anticipation to finally get the Viper out and

experience the incredible elevation changes and 11 challenging turns.

We got to the track early on Friday morning and took in all the great sights

It was a great day at the track and one I will not ever forget !

The really cool thing about this trip was bringing the family and enjoying the Monterey Bay with them

We stayed at the Clement Intercontinental in a luxury suite

The view from one of our 3 balcony patios

It was just a hundred feet from the Monterey Bay Aquarium where we spent Saturday

There were so many cool things to see.

The jellies were really cool to sit and watch

Halie couldn't resist picking a fight with one of the locals

Sunday morning came fast and we were off to breakfast where we ran into Scott and Laura

After breakfast we hit the road for a 6 1/2 hour drive back home.  Long, but so worth it !
