Speedventures sent out an email asking if anyone would be interested in a "Drifting Class"

Of course a bunch of us jumped at the opportunity to go.   We headed out to Willow Springs

on a beautiful Saturday morning.

We had a driver's meeting where our instructor, Will, gave us some very good explanations

on the proper drifting techniques

After our meeting we hit the skid pad. 

We started out doing circles around a cone and tried to get the back end to drift out while controlling the

car around in a countersteer.

I can tell you that it was NOT easy.  It will take me a ton of seat time to learn how to balance

the steering input and throttle to properly do this.

Both the Eddies and Ben got the hang of it pretty quick and did a great job controlling the drift.

It was a really fun exercise and I am looking forward to the opportunity to go out and try this again.
