The Mojave Mile is a 1 mile, standing start, full throttle run for top speed. Sounds easy, but
it takes a lot of preparation, Horsepower and execution to achieve 200+ mph in 1 mile from
a standing start. Many try, but only a handful get into the 200 mph Club.
Club Member Bob Griffith has a very special Gen 2 custom Viper that consistently runs over 200 mph.
A bunch of us made the trip out to Mojave to watch Bob and others make their mile passes.
Bob also ran his Jeff Gordan Cup car.

Harry ran a very impressive 195.5 in his 2006 supercharged coupe !!!!

Heading out to make another pass....218.3 mph !! which put him in a tie for top speed of the day.
We left the Mojave Airport and followed Art to Charlie Browns for lunch. It was a really cool place
with great food.
