The So Cal Viper Club headed back to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana to run the annual

Car Control Clinic for the members.  This year we brought in Naoki Kobayashi from Drift 101

and Megan Racing to work with our members in the art of car control through drifting.

It was a very warm day and the tire rubber was certainly burning.

This is a labor intensive event and a HUGE Thank You to Scott Hirko, Ben Kawata, Randy Tribolet,

Matthew Gross, Anthony Matranga and Eddie Arguelles for spending Friday out in the sun setting up

the Auto-x course.   On Saturday, even more help came from our great members to help set up

and avery special Thank you to Jordyn and Kaci for sitting at the timing table keeping track of all the

Auto-x times.

It was a very hectic day for Scott and I.  I managed to take a few pictures and Scott took quite a few.

Here are the small handful that I took.

Randy was so excited to break the 1:00 mark in a stock Gen 1.   Trust me when I say, this is a

GREAT time on old stock tires.   Great driving Randy.  It took me 5 tries to break the minute

and I helped set up the track !
