We started off 2013 at the Fastest Track in the West.

A huge THANK YOU to Dan Cragin and Garry Wong of Specialty Performance Team.

To introduce and launch their new business, they sponsored 100% of the costs for this day at the track.

This was a huge undertaking and required a ton of coordination between SPT, our Club,

WSIR and SRT.  With 64 registered cars and well over 100 people in attendance, it was an incredible

way to start out our year !

This event drew so much attention that the CEO of SRT, Ralph Gilles and the Chief Engine Engineer, Dick Winkles,

drove 4 days straight in a 2013 Viper to participate in our event.  

We had absolutely beautiful clear weather out at WSIR....once the sun came out and warmed things up a bit.

There were 6 gorgeous McLaren MP-4 at the event as well.

Our So Cal Viper Club Track Director, Dan Everts,  invested a ton of time organizing and planning for this event.

Blake was there documenting everything we did.

Yellow flowers were placed in turn 4 for our sorely missed friend Dave "OGO" Cawthorne

I had not been out on the track since we held his memorial 3 1/2 years ago.  I got to spend some time

in turn 4 before the track went hot and I know OGO was so happy to have his Viper Family out on his home

track.  He is missed by all.........
