Three days before our scheduled tour of West Coast Customs, they had to cancel our event

due to last minute scheduling conflicts.  It was a mad scramble Wednesday afternoon but

we were able to miraculously line something up and line something up BIG.   The Day Family Classic

Cars is a private collection worth over $9 million.  Tom and Diane Day are huge automotive

enthusiasts and have spent years collecting incredible cars from the early 1900's to current

muscle cars.  It was not enough to just own the cars, so they built a 33,000 sq/ft "museum" to

display their cars and over $3 million in memorabilia.    This facility is not open to the public and

it took some major string pulling to get our 57 members in for a tour at such last minute.

Thankfully it all worked out and I only lost 2 handfuls of hair.

Ed, the curator, was AWESOME !  He gave us a great overview of the Day Family and shared

some great history on many of the cars inside.

We didn't get to tour West Coast Customs, but got to check out their display inside the museum.

It wasn't enough to just have the cars, they also collected the memorabilia and created

"scenes" for the cars

Ed finished our tour with quite a treat.  He climbed in Rusty Wallace's  NASCAR Ford Mustang

and started it up.  It made everyone JUMP !!

After a great tour, we headed over to Hidden Valley Golf Club for lunch.

The weather was PERFECT as we sat out on the patio and ate delicious tacos overlooking the course.

Eddie and Dave then headed out to play 18.  Hit them straight and long or you will pay the price !

Thank you all for understanding and supporting today's event, even with the last minute venue changes.

It was great to see everyone and even better knowing that the money we collected for the tour was donated

The Orange County Children's Hospital.
