The Club at Spring Mountain is by far the greatest track facility anywhere on the West Coast.

To be invited in by a member is a great honor and we are very grateful for all the effort that goes

into making this all possible.      Thank you Brent, Michael and Len !!!

We headed to our meet point in Barstow.  As luck would have it, my good friend and President

of the Calico Cruisers out of Las Vegas was heading to So Cal and had invited me to dinner Friday

night.   I told him that I was headed to Spring Mtn and knew that we would be crossing paths as we each

commuted to our opposite destinations.  So we set up a meeting time and came together in Barstow.

We all went in for a quick lunch and visited for a while, then headed out to continue our drive to Pahrump.

After unloading all the trailers and settling into our rooms there at the track, we went out for a

great BBQ dinner.  After dinner we sat out on the porch and enjoyed the brisk evening and star filled sky.

As member guests, we were treated to the Member's clubhouse and facilities which are 1st class

A great Father - Son weekend

After running all day on the track, we headed over to the gun range that is also on the track property.

It was a ton of fun shooting in there.

That evening we headed over to the China Wok for some really good Italian food.   : )

Thanks again Michael and Virginia for letting us come hang out in your awesome garage.

After a very windy night, Sunday morning greeted us with crisp cool air, a warming sun and

a very light breeze.

Most of us ran 3 sessions and had an absolute blast.  The loaded up to make the long drive home.

Brent and Peter hated to see the weekend fun come to and end.

Traffic home was not bad at all and we made really good time.  Scott Ben and I stopped in

Rancho Cucamonga just after the beautiful sunset for a quick dinner and then we headed home.

Everyone had a great time and we all did really well on the track with no issues.
