Some events are easy, some are very difficult.  This event was very simple, but required a very

complex matrix of pieces in order to achieve what we set out to accomplish.

Scott, Bruce and I had a common goal to bring back some of the energy and fun that we remembered

and enjoyed from past Viper Days events.  We wanted to focus on teaching and getting more

of our new Viper owners the exposure of having the Viper on a track.  We wanted to rekindle the camaraderie

and passion.

Many different ideas were put on the table and the event slowly took shape.  We were able to reach out to

many of our friends in other areas like Nor Cal, Cen Cal, AZ and Nev to gauge their interest.

With the help of Todd Solomon and Rich Erickson from Nor Cal,  Scott, Bruce and I were able to form a great working team.

We reached out to Skip Thomas to see if he would come back to the West Coast to teach his classes again.

Once he learned about our desires and committed to the event, we set the plan in action.

We were able to partner with Jim Saxton of West Coast Racing Inc which made him the event administrator.

We wrote a firm mission statement and stuck to it.......not an easy thing to do sometimes.

Many things were stacked against us, but when all was said and done, 78 Vipers and over 120 people

signed up for this event !!!!

After months and months of work, preparation and stress, it was time to have some FUN !
