It was time to go out to the desert to take on the Corvettes in our annual Auto-x challenge.

Unfortunately we weren't able to get rooms, so we had to make the 2+ hour drive out early.

It was a beautiful morning with the sun already shining strong on us.  We knew the Vettes would be

anxious to defend, having beat us last year........but we were gonna give it our best.

After all the runs were tallied, the Vipers came out on top and now hold a 3 to 1 advantage over the Corvettes.

At the end of the day, it was more about supporting the Charities that benefit from all the hard work

that the Palm Springs Corvette Club members put into this event.  The Vipers all have a great time

playing with the Vettes and competing, but the best part is just being together for the day knowing that

we are helping out the charities................................................and beating the vettes  : )
