We all love the great men and women that serve our Country and given the special opportunity

to step up and show our support was something  that many of us were very excited to do and be a part of.

A huge Thank you to Andy for working so hard on this event.  He made special arrangements with the

Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Company at Camp Pendleton to get all the Vipers special access

to the base on a beautiful So Cal morning for a car show and BBQ lunch.   The EOD has a particularly

intense job of disarming live ammunitions, which to say the least, is quite dangerous and stressful.

Our goal was to give them a small break from their rigors and share some food, fun, appreciation and smiles

with them.

In their library, they had a small display of many different types of bombs

We all gathered up and prepared for the convoy onto the Base.

George in his new Cobra

Andy and Ann collected our donations for the EOD Warrior Foundation

After the short drivers meeting, we headed for the Base

We were met at the gate by a HUGE MRAB which escorted and paraded us around the base before we

went to the EOD's facility

It was an amazing feeling as we pulled up to the EOD's gates and were greeted by all the soldiers

and their families waving and cheering as we pulled in.

We got our cars staged in perfect formation

After lunch, Andy presented the Commander our donations in excess of $4000.00 to go directly into

the EOD Warrior Foundation which is there to help the families of EOD Marines that paid the ultimate

price in the line of duty.   It was a very humbling and moving moment for all of us to be a part of.

Michelle, Eddie, Dylan and Jade not only donated money but also gave away men's and women's shirts to everyone !

The BBQ Crew   These guys cooked up everything we brought for the lunch.

One of the greatest things for us was being able to meet the many Marines and their families,

give them our Thanks personally and share our toys with them.

It was a GREAT day full of smiles and fun for all.

Bridgit found the shrapnel field.

As we all headed home, there was an immense feeling of pride knowing that we were part of a very special day.............
