We always look forward to going out to Pahrump Nevada to drive the track at Spring Mountain.

A very special  "Thanks"  to members Brent, Len, Juan and Jack for inviting us in as their guests

for the weekend.

We loaded up the Vipers, tires and helmets and headed out early Friday morning to our usual

meet point in Barstow.

We grabbed a burger at In&Out and then headed out to the cars.  We always attract a lot of attention

and always love sharing information with those that come over to check out the snakes.

Cathy and Dan flew out from Dallas too !

This was a bitter sweet trip for all of us.  We were excited to be there, but with the unexpected

passing of our dear brother Michael von Quilich, we all had heavy hearts.

It was quite emotional for all of us as Virginia came out and gave us all hugs for being there

for Michael's Memorial at the Club

We all hung out by the cars and remembered the great times we shared with Michael

His Vipers

At 5:30 all the vipers fired up and headed out on the track to do a parade lap in Michael's honor

It was quite a sight to see the loooong snake line of Vipers

I know Michael was smiling as all the Vipers made their way under the Michelin bridge

which he thundered under thousands of times in his Viper.

After the parade lap, we all headed into the clubhouse

All the tables were decorated with flags from every race win that Michael had.  Very impressive.

A rainbow in the sky

It was so great to hear the many great stories and memories of Michael.

Riding off into the sunset................

Sunday morning came early, but the skies were clear and we knew we would have a great day

Jay and Laura relaxing in the Clubhouse

It was a great weekend and everyone did great on the track.

On Monday morning we loaded up and got ready for the long drive back home.

We were tired, but filled with great memories and smiles shared with our Viper family
