Every 2 years, our National Club hosts a National Viper Event (NVE)

This year NVE3 was hosted in the greatest city in the Nation - Las Vegas !

This made it extremely convenient for our So Cal Club and we were well

represented with 52 Vipers !!

A huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone who donated their time

and worked so hard to put this event on.  Everything went off like clockwork

and everyone had smiles on their faces.

So Cal had a huge caravan planned for Wednesday.  We were all very excited

and eager to hit the road.

Thanks to John Burgan for putting me in touch with the CHP.

We are working together to do a joint event with them later this year.

Officer Carapia was kind enough to come meet with us out at our first meet point.

We had a quick drivers meeting and CHP gave us a few safety tips before we headed out.

They also passed out some cool lanyards and let me off with just a warm handshake  : )

The best part was having the 2 Patrol cars block traffic for us so that we could all exit together

and get on our way !  So very cool of them.

We made the short drive up to Yermo where we stopped for lunch at the famous

Peggy Sue's 50's Diner

Other patrons were seeing double and really enjoying the very cool car show that rolled into the lot

The staff at Peggy Sue's were hopping and we were given first class service and excellent food.

Definitely a place well worth stopping for.

All the wives were having a good ole time together

One of the greatest things about the Viper is that we get to make friends from every State.

I met Blair years ago when he and his friends needed a place to store their Vipers in So Cal

before they arrived.  Blair drove across from the east coast for NVE3 and called me to see if he could join

our caravan out.  It was great to see him again and his ACR extreme Targa was absolutely beautiful

After lunch our Viper train hit the road and we made it to the beautiful Delano Resort.

Lori and I were lucky enough to win a Penthouse Suite upgrade from the VOA.  We were

so surprised and excited when Alex called to give us the awesome news.

The suite was 1700 sq/ft and was very luxurious

Awesome views day and night

After settling into our rooms, we headed down to the famous Mandalay Wave pool for our reception

dinner.

Tom and Shaun were having a great time

It was definitely a great beach party

I shot over 1500 pictures, I can't even guess what my good friend Maurice shot.  He was carrying 2 cameras !

Alex Ristanovic did an incredible job from top to bottom on this entire event.
