Getting the opportunity to give back to our brave soldiers in the military is always a very special
thing. We were privileged enough to get a personal invitation to return to the Explosive
Ordinance Disposal compound in Camp Pendleton. This year we invited the Ferrari Club
to join us and put on a really cool car show for them. A huge Thank You to long time member Andy
Weiss who did all the legwork to arrange for us to get back on the Base for this great event.
A bunch of us met up in Irvine before heading down to Camp Pendleton
The Schley Boys brought out their brand new Corvette ZR1......Very impressive !!!!
Will's Gen 2 still turns the heads
The Demon !!
Gene and Blanca brought out their brand new Demon

We met up with the rest of the Vipers and the Ferrari guys down in Oceanside
It was really cool seeing the 2 breeds there
We entered the Base and then staged up
After a quick briefing and driver's meeting, we fell in line with special escorts to take us thru the Base
Now this is an impressive line up of horsepower
We pulled in and got parked all around the complex.
One of the fun things is letting the kids get in and get a feel for the Viper
This young lady was quick to point out that she just got her driver's permit.
We all brought food down to feed them and the the BBQ were going full blast
The EOD had a great display and were excited to show and tell us about what they do.
Really brave and extremely dangerous work that they do.
We even got to try our hands at driving the bomb disposal robot

The Commander was present and it was a great honor getting to spend some time with him

It was a beautiful, fun day that left everyone with a very warm heart knowing that we were able to
personally give thanks to these brave soldiers and their families for all their work that they do
for our great Country.
