One of the all time favorite tracks has to be the famed Laguna Seca.  Not only is it an iconic

and awesome track to drive, but the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and is a great

excuse to take the family up for a mini vacation.

We took advantage and met up with our daughter Arisa who is working up in San Francisco and

her roommate from college, Jenna

After a nice breakfast, we went to the aquarium

It was great spending the weekend with these two....TOO much FUN !

On Sunday, we headed over to the Monterey Zoo.

We wished we could have spent more time there with Randy and Diane, but we had to get

Arisa and Jenna back to San Fran so we cut out early.  They got an up close and personal

tour of all the animals and even got to wash and elephant !!!

We got the the track early on Monday morning and offloaded the Vipers.

There was a light fog, but that quickly lifted and gave us perfect mid 70 degree weather and

blue skies all day long
