The So Cal Viper Club held a Member's only event at the K-1 Speed indoor Karting facility in Irvine Ca.

Dan and Cathy along with the staff at K-1 did an incredible job organizing this event.   We were treated to a First Class facility for Karting, spectacular lunch, awesome racing and great memories with friends.

The Sippel's were ready to race

After running the Qualifying Heats, all the times were sorted fastest to the slowest.

We were then placed in the grid according to our Qualifying times.  Each heat then raced for position.

Despite rumors of "Payoffs", I qualified with the fastest lap time and got the Pole Position !  It was a great race, especially since I placed FIRST in the top heat.
