Hearst Castle, 61 Vipers, So Cal, Nor Cal, Central Cal, Nev and Arizona
This event had initially been intended as an Auto-X event where the three Calif. clubs would come together for some friendly competetion.
After countless hours of work trying to set the event up, the decision was made to do a "social" event. The response was overwhelming, so Dan and Cathy put in a ton of work to tie things together and finalize all the details. This event was incredibly well organized and every last detail covered, right down to the personalized name tags and event tickets.
Everyone was so excited for this event.
The day finally came and I woke up to a spectacular sunrise
We headed off to the first meet point and found everyone in the mood for Halloween
"You'll never believe what I just saw !! "

Dan gave us our driving instructions and we headed for Solvang and lunch.
David from Santa Barbara pulled some BIG time strings and was able to secure
the prime parking lot in the center of town just for us !!! Thank You David !!!
Rainfall slowed us down on the roads quite a bit, but did not dampen our spirits.
We took off from Solvang and headed North to Shell Beach and the beautiful Cliff's Resort.
Hotel Manager Max got us checked in and also had Sangria and appetizers waiting for us in the lobby.

This young driver is one of the employee's son.
It didn't take much to get this 4 year old to take the wheel.
We left Meridian and headed back to the Cliffs Resort for some much needed rest.
I sat out on our balcony and enjoyed the view. Incredible !!!!
Sunday evening was our banquet. A few of the couples came in costume.
This couple chose to wear their normal clothes.
We were entertained by the Addams Family murder mystery throughout our dinner.
Many of us know Jon B. and the Partsrack. Jon took time out of his schedule to join us
for this event. I have a tremendous amount of respect for those that go out of their way
to do things for others. Jon B. continually donates things to the Viper community, is always there with great advice,
and above all else, Genuinely cares about the Viper Family. I always read about care packages that he sends out,
whether for a club event or for one of our troops.
This was my small way of saying Thanks.
Monday morning came way too fast and early.
We loaded up and headed back home.
Thanks to all who made it out to this event......
Where are we going NEXT year??????
